About Private Property Registry

Private Property Registry was founded in Costa Rica in 2007 as an effective answer to the citizens' urgent demand for protection against real estate fraud.

The company and its products were designed by an outstanding group of Costa Rican professionals and entrepreneurs, with backgrounds in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law and Business Administration.

PPR services complement those offered by the Public Registry: while the latter registers property rights, the former registers expressions of will by the owners that ensure the protection of those property rights.

The holistic system of property rights protection comprises a series of controls that prevent real estate fraud, from daily audits to emergency legal advice, and includes prevention, dissuasion, information and reactive intervention, offering a complete process that answers the demand for real estate security in Costa Rica.
